Bladder cancer is a disease that has high recurrence rate, and the current molecular targeting therapies have yielded low treatment efficacy. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) plays critical roles in tumor growth, invasiveness and metastasis. The aim of this review is to summarize the current molecular targets for bladder cancer therapies and the emerging novel drug discovery strategies targeting the molecular mechanisms of TGF-β. Drug targets discussed include TGF-β blockade, TGF-β receptors, downstream TGF-β signaling, TGF-β induced chemokines/cytokines and TGF-β co-receptors. As we know, TGF-β is an important molecular target for bladder cancer, but due to the complexity of its molecular regulatory network, its clinical application is limited. In an application of the above-described system, the robot can perform the following tasks: 1) detecting an object, such as a person, within a vision field of the robot; 2) determining a posture of the object; and 3) pursuing or searching for the object, and bringing the object close to or near the robot. If the robot can automatically recognize a human being, an ability to detect and track a human being can be improved by means of the above-described tasks.
Conventionally, the shape of an object is determined by using a three-dimensional (3D) image obtained by an infrared camera. Specifically, by observing infrared light reflected off the object from an infrared camera, the object is recognized in a 3D image.
However, in the conventional 3D image recognition technique
