To edit an existing image, work on a copy of the image (Copy).
To copy the image (Ctrl+C), use the Edit menu’s Copy command.
To paste the image into the program (Ctrl+V), use the Edit menu’s Paste command.
You can accomplish a lot of editing with the tools that Photoshop includes. You can resize, crop, and rotate an image and change its color scheme. You can add special effects and create collages. You can combine layers and change their opacity as well as position them. If an image has multiple layers and you want to use just one to edit it, you must change the visibility of all the layers. You can mask an area of the image to protect the part of the image you are editing.
Although you can work with Photoshop in the full-screen layout, you can also use other tools that you set up in the toolbars to view and work on an image. You may not get the most traditional view of Photoshop when you work in the Classic view, but the interface can help you make better judgments on how to edit an image. The work area is divided between the currently open image and the menu bar. The work area is divided into three vertical areas, with the menu bar on the top and each area representing one third of the image.
Customizing the Workspace
When you launch Photoshop, a workspace appears. It has tools grouped into toolbars and areas on the right. You can customize how the program looks by moving the toolbars and reorganizing the menu items.
If you click the Home icon to the left of the menu bar (it looks like a file folder), you go to the Preferences window, where you can rearrange the menus and toolbars on the left. Click the arrow to the left of any menu to drag it into the best possible location for you. When you release the mouse button, the menu becomes the way you set it up. Figure 14-1 shows this arrangement of the menus and toolbars.

The Toolbar Area
After you’ve set the layout of the program, you need to define the area where you perform your edits and other tasks. The area that you see is called the Toolbar Area. You can click the Toolbar Selector button in the top-right corner and make any of the toolbars appear at the top of the screen. Figure

Here is what I currently use. It’s all perfectly set up, but don’t hesitate to also add a memory card, and/or an external hard drive (I use a 256GB internal) if you get the download version.

The external hard drive is a very important part of my computer. It stores the images I work on, your images, and many of the tutorials I have up my sleeve. The following model will do fine:

When you have your external hard drive set up, I suggest installing a RAM disk. This allows you to save images in internal memory while having them available on your external hard drive.

Before I dive into the software, I want to mention that I got my first Elements in 2014. That version was.xpi and everything (apart from Elements itself) was completely offline. Nowadays, the software is a.exe application, which means you’ll need to have a decent internet connection, if you want the update to automatically download and install the files.

The above file was saved on my desktop but I have this list on my server.
I need to loop through this list and get all the lines like the one above.
Then save it as an array.
I have no idea where to start. Can anyone help please?

I have given a solution using a line variable which gets the location of the file in the dir.
Then I have used a while loop to go through the dir dirname until the file is no more found.
Then at the line where the file is I check where I want to start the loop and then
